Colón, Willie / Héctor Lavoe: Vigilante (Vinyl LP)

The final studio collaboration by salsa’s iconic duo Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe, Vigilante is the soundtrack to the 1982 film of the same name where Willie plays a ruthless gang member. This project pairs him again with his compadre and former singer Héctor Lavoe.

The best-selling album includes four tracks, three performed by Lavoe, “Triste y Vacía,” the epic hit “Juanito Alimaña” and “Pasé La Noche Fumando.” Colón performs the 12-minute title track starring Yomo Toro.

Featuring (AAA) lacquers cut from the original masters, this 180-gram vinyl reissue celebrates the album’s 40th anniversary.
